Saucy Sesame Green Beans

by Jamie
 When someone says the words
“Green Beans” to you,
do often start salivating…
Or plotting how you can get some….
Or, do you hide some in your purse
in case you need a little treat for later?
You don’t?
Get out of here.
That’s just plain crazy.
(Ok, I don’t either)
How. Ever.
These Saucy Sesame Green Beans are not your run of the mill bean.
They do NOT cry out
“Ho, hum…blah, blah another vegetable.”
No sir, ree. Not these beans.

Now. I am not going to tell you that these Saucy Sesame Green Beans taste like Cheesecake or anything like that.
But…
They are darn good.
WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better than your average can, or plain old package of frozen green beans.
They are accompanied with a
delicious,
peanuty,
sesame,
sugary sauce.
Try them.
Hope you love them.
Wish I were eating them.
Right this very second.

Here are your ingredients….in all their glory.

I don't like plain green beans but this takes them to a whole new level. I want to make these and get those green beans to be appealing.

I made these green beans a couple weeks ago and my fiance went nuts! I've never seen him eat vegetables that fast. This week I used the sauce for a chicken stir-fry, and it was perfect! I cooked some small pieces of chicken with a bag of frozen stir-fry veggies, then added the sauce as everything finished cooking. It was just delicious! This sauce recipe will be hanging around my kitchen for a long time to come.
