September Menu Plan 2011

by Jamie
Oh the beauty of September!
It really is one of the most
glowing and delightful
months of the year,
wouldn’t you agree?
I love all of the wonderful produce that is available in such bounty.
I love it even more when I plant a big garden, which didn’t happen this year…but I’m trying NOT to be depressed about it and am supporting my local farmers market with regularity.

I love the start of a new school year, fresh with possibility.
New boxes of crayons, kids excited about learning….a little quiet time for mother.
(Had to throw that in there, I know some of you were thinking it, too.)

I love the temperature….
a blissful combination of warm and cool.
Not hot at all.
I loath hot.
It’s just so sweaty and blazing and all.
Yes, September happens to be one of my favorites.
I’m glad it has come to pay me a visit once again.
For you all today….my September Menu.
Colored titles are links back to recipes already posted.
Black titles are recipes I hope to post soon.
This month I’ve added a Printable Link for your convenience.
And for mine!

Have a great day!
