I also wanted to give you a little heads up about a great company I’ve recently had contact with and will be hosting a giveaway for at the end of the month. Thirty-One Gifts specializes in darling bags of all shapes and sizes. This month they have a Customer Special going on. For every $31 dollars spent customers will receive 1/2 off one of their cute purses. A great deal, I’d say. Look for more information here. Giveaway coming soon. 🙂

  1. Hi Jamie, my go-to recipe is generally “kitchen sink” salad. At least that's what my mom always called it. Pretty much just whatever greens I have on hand, topped with anything and everything I have in my fridge that seems tasty or needs to be used.
Also, I just want to say I've recently gotten back into regularly reading a couple blogs and yours has been one of my favorites! I've tried a couple of your recipes and been pretty pleased with how each of them have come out. I'd have to say the chicken stuffed crescent balls (sorry, can't remember the name) have been my favorite! Thank you!

  2. I have several recipes I can throw together quickly. Since I always have hamburger and salad fixings, I would have to say Taco Salad. I combine a bottle of fat-free Catalina dressing and a can of chili beans for the dressing (We use this for more than just 1 meal.) I season the hamburger with taco seasoning. I chop up lettuce, peppers, tomatoes and onions, then throw in some cheese. Serve it on Frito chips (which I rarely have) or crumble tortilla chips over the top. I also enjoy your blog. One of our favorites so far is Crispy Cheddar Chicken.

  3. My go to recipe is chicken tortilla soup! It's a can of chicken broth, a cup of water, a can of corn drained, a can of black beans rinsed and drained, a can of refried beans, a cup of salsa, and then either boiled chicken chopped up, or 2 cans of chicken (whichever we have time for). We top this with chips, cheese, and sour cream. It's easy and delicious!! 🙂 I read your blog every time I want a new recipe! It is so fun and simple! Thanks for all the time you put into this to share your talents!

    1. Do you have a spam problem on this wetbsie; I also am a blogger, and I was curious about your situation; many of us have created some nice methods and we are looking to trade techniques with other folks, why not shoot me an email if interested.

  4. Is frozen pizza cheating too much? It's seriously my family's favorite speedy quick meal. I also usually keep a meat sauce for spaghetti or chili in the freezer for a quick meal too. If I'm out of all of those things, then I just make eggs.

  5. I have two go-to meals: 1. Salmon patties, mac & cheese, green peas, and applesauce; or 2. Spaghetti w/meat sauce. I make a large batch of spaghetti sauce and freeze what we don't use.

  6. What I will do is make Mac & Cheese and add some Canadian Bacon and peas to the mix.
