If I Were Grillin’ and Eatin’

If I Were Grillin’ and Eatin’
  • Pinterest

This past Monday I checked myself into the hospital and had a little surgery. It’s true. Nothing life threatening or anything like that. Just taking care of a few things that don’t work any more (out with the old…if you will.) And I had it all together in my mind that I could spend a few easy breezy days in the hospital, reading a good book and editing pictures and getting posts ready for you all. But it didn’t really turn out like I had planned, since it’s pretty hard to edit pictures when you can only keep your eyes open for 2 minutes at a time. :) Lesson learned.

And so today, instead of a brand new recipe post, I have for you just a little recap of some old recipes previously posted on the site. A Grillin’, Outside Eatin’ kind of recap. Because it is just as lovely as can be outside and if I were in my right mind, I would be grilling. Grilling and eating some of the tasty food you see below with friends and family. Just sounds good to this old girl! Hope you find a recipe or two to love within the links and pictures below.

PS…Cross you fingers I’ll be in my right mind soon. Cooking up a storm, posting new recipes, and answering your comments and emails.

PPS…Thanks goes to my husband for editing this post so I didn’t haul off and embarrass myself with 50 misspelled words and over sharing about a pee bag. Excuse me. Yucky surgery details should not be shared on a food blog. Thank you.

***NOTE: For some unknown reason I cannot upload a lovely picture of Grilled Chicken Bruschetta for you this morning. If I were in my right mind, I bet I could figure it out. I think I scared the picture off with my pee bag.  Have I mentioned that I’m not in my right mind. Trust me when I say that it’s a wonderful recipe, won’t you? Click on the link below to see it for yourself.
Grilled Chicken Bruschetta

The end. Have a great weekend everyone!
Hope to see you again soon.
