Frozen Strawberry Lemonade

If you are looking for something cool and refreshing, this is it baby.

If you’re in the mood for a nice slushy frozen lemonade to wet your whistle, you have found it!

This Frozen Strawberry Lemonade is the perfect combination of tart and sweet and the slushy texture is fun and refreshing. You didn’t know “slushy texture” could be considered as fun, did you. Well, it can. At least in my book. But what do I know, I had a dream last night about a Nine Layer Brownie of Wonder and Bliss.

Help. Me. Rhonda.  Cross your fingers I start dreaming of Carrot Sticks in the near future. I’ve heard if you dream about carrot sticks you automatically loose like 15 pounds in one night. Seriously.

Please pardon my short tangent on Brownies and Carrot Sticks.

Now, would you like to know the best part about this Frozen Strawberry Lemonade? You only need 4 ingredients (and one of them is water!) and 10 minutes to make it happen. Now, THAT is fun.

Make it  for your kids when they come in parched from the heat. Make it for your book club ladies, for your mom and your dad, your best friend Susie and her sister Betty Lou. Hope you love it gang!

Frozen Strawberry Lemonade
PRINT RECIPE

Time: 10 minutes
Yield: 6 (8 ounce) servings
Recipe from Jamie Cooks It Up!

1 (16 ounce) package frozen strawberries
1 (12 ounce) frozen pink lemonade concentrate
3/4 C cold water
1/2-3/4 C sugar

1. Grab one pound of whole frozen strawberries and toss them into your blender.

2. Add 1 can Pink Lemonade Frozen Concentrate.

3. Pour in 3/4 cup cold water and 1/2 to 3/4 cup sugar. Only use 1/2 cup of sugar if you like a really tart lemonade. Add more sugar if you want to sweeten it up a bit.

4. Blend it all up, allowing the fruit to become smooth.

Serve immediately…
