Are you ready to start another week? They just keep rolling by at record speed, am I right! I swear, the older you get, the faster time goes by. Just yesterday I was pushing a stroller with twin babies in it, and this morning I woke up to a houseful of teenagers. Not sure how that happened and no one living here can explain it either. It just is, how it is. Which is really great, fun, hilarious at times, super frustrating during others and extremely rewarding. When I started this blog more than 5 years ago, I used to share a lot of stories about my kids. I’ve stopped doing that as much because, well…they are older and don’t care for having the ins and out of their daily life reported here. Who can blame them. 🙂 I read an article this week (at Home Sanctuary) about mothering older kids. I loved it and thought it worth passing on to any of you who are in my same boat. Here’s the link. No pressure, just something I enjoyed and thought you might too.
I have some great recipes lined up for us all this week! Hope you find something to love!
Chicken Enchilada Soup (Crock Pot)
Serve with cheddar cheese, sour cream, tortilla chips and cilantro
Hawaiian Pineapple Chicken
and white rice
Cheesy Spanish Rice
and lettuce and tomatoes
Meatball Sub Sandwich
Green Salad and Potato Chips
Bruschetta Chicken and Pasta Salad
This is one of my favorite recipes of all time. Can’t wait to get my hands on it. 🙂
Strawberry White Chocolate Pie
Have you found any good strawberries yet this season?
They are scrumptious at Costco, my friends. Just wanted to throw that out there, in case you are headed there this week.
Make this fabulous pie, you won’t be sorry. 🙂
