Earlier this week my cute neighbor brought me a bag of tomatoes from her garden, fresh basil, garlic, red onion and a copy of this recipe. What a lovely gift, yes? Loved it! I made the recipe later that afternoon, snapped a few pictures and brought it along to share with you all today. If you have fresh tomatoes and basil from your garden I hope you’ll give this pasta sauce recipe a try! It makes of use of 10 medium sized tomatoes and has a delicious, rich tomato flavor.  Certainly different than most pasta sauce recipes, but unique and delicious all the same. Fresh tomatoes really pump up a recipe, am I right?  It also works well if you are looking for a great vegetarian sauce.

Enjoy!

    1. Judy,
Thanks for your question. I would substitute a combination of Italian Seasoning and Garlic salt for the Johnny’s Seasoning.
      Best of luck!
