January Menu…off to a new start!

by Jamie

 Healthy Egg Drop Soup

Happy New Year everyone! 2011 is officially upon us.

Throw out your Fudge and Caramels and make way for some vegetables or something, will ya?
I am always surprised how much better
I feel when I eat more veggies.
Sure Fudge and Caramels taste like heaven….
and I’m not sure if you knew or not….
but butter and sugar are not one of the main food groups.
I know.
Take a moment to mourn.
I am right there with you.
I have eaten far more than my share.
Bring on Whole Wheat Bread, Hearty Healthy Soups,
Tasty Stir Fry, and Savory Crock Pot Dishes.
I am ready.
Ready to lighten things up a bit.
I have for you below my January Menu. Included are many of my favorite healthy dinner options. Recipes in Red or Green are links back to previous posts. Recipes in Black are new recipes I am hoping to post in the near future. I’m planning on keeping it pretty light this month. Just in case some of you have eaten too much fudge and are looking for  tasty and satisfying and healthy food
that doesn’t include pounds of butter and sugar.
I know I am!
I think you just might be looking for that kind of thing as well.

So…start your engines and fasten your seat belts everyone.
Let’s take a skinny ride for a spell.

Hope you find some recipes your family will enjoy!

Delicious menu choices! I will definitely be trying a few. Unfortunately, I must confess that I enjoyed the chocolate, sugar, butter combo way to much this holiday season! Double veggies for me, please!!! 😀

So there are a lot of recipes on here I want to try. Some are not “linked up”. How do I find those recipes?

I just wanted to tell you that I absolutely love your website!!!! My kids love the egg drop soup and most of the other recipes I've used off your website. Tonight it's tortilini soup and the macaroni grill bread. Both new things – hope it turns out because it looks DELISH! Thanks for doing me such a great service with this website!
