Very soon….
it will be the weekend.
And on weekends don’t you always find your self
kicking back
taking it easy
sleeping in
reading 10 books
lounging around for hours
and eating bon bons
while your servants fan you with
Ok, me either.
We can wish, can’t we!
Weekends around here can sometimes wear this old girl out!
However this weekend I’m looking forward to sleeping
in a bit on Sunday and watching
General Conference in my pajamas with my family and some of the great food you see on this page. I know many of you readers will be taking a break from your regular church attendance to watch General Conference as well. And so today (as suggested by a kind reader) I have an assortment of recipes that would work well for a weekend breakfast or brunch. I hope you find them to be a great addition to your weekend.
Wondering why or who or what in the world
Click here for a little explanation.
I’m totally making this dish! It can be made the night before and left in the fridge just waiting for me and my fluffy slippers to pop it in the oven in the morning hours….after I have slept in that is….and you know how we Mothers get to sleep in until at least 7:30! 🙂 🙂 🙂
This treasure of a recipe should be assembled
the night before as well.
Not in to PrepWorkTheNightBefore?
Just make this fabulous french toast.
It’s easy and down right delicious.
Who doesn’t love a little bit of chocolate in their pancakes?
Ok…if chocolate in your pancakes isn’t your thing…how about apples and spices and a syrup that will make you weak in the knees.
Can’t get enough of this stuff.
Kid pleasing, adult loving….a winner all the way around.

These Breakfast Burritos are great if you have a crowd to feed.
And finally….simple, wonderful crepes.
I’m planning to make these and stuffing them with fresh peaches, and bit of nutmeg and whipped cream.
Have a happy weekend everyone, whatever your plans may be!
See you back here next week.
I have my October Menu Plan waiting for you as well as some
It is going to be October you know.
Let the fun begin!
