Easy Grilled Garlic Bread

by Jamie
Did you know
there are a lot of
different
kinds
of
EASY.

There’s the kind of slow and easy that’s nice to listen to.
There are days that are easy breezy, where you get to sit under a tree, eat a picnic lunch and watch your kids run in the sun.
There’s cheap and easy that should only be instigated at the grocery store while purchasing things that are on sale.
And then there
is
this
EEEEE
ZEEEE
Grilled Garlic Bread recipe.
It’s the kind of easy that Mom’s like us love on a busy night when things are hectic…but you still want to serve something tasty to your crew. Tasty in ten minutes.
Want to see how to do it?
Ok, then.
Let’s do it.

This wonderful Grilled Garlic Bread is fabulous served with Hearty Spaghetti Sauce,

1. In a small bowl combine the butter, mayonnaise, garlic salt and parsley. Stir it all together until well combined.

2. Heat up your skillet, or griddle over medium high heat.  Cut your bread into slices about 1 and 1/2 inches thick.

3. Butter BOTH sides of each piece of bread.

4. Lay several slices on the skillet.

5. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top of each piece of bread. Carefully tap it in to be sure it sticks to the buttery spread.

6. When the bottoms of the slices are golden brown, flip them over and let them get browned on the other side.

7. Serve while still hot off the griddle.
Enjoy!

This sounds great! I think it would make a great grilled cheese sandwich.

Used this recipe last night, didn’t have the parsley so used a smidge of herbs de provence. Italian herb blend would have been more sensible. Baked it in 425º oven. Delicious. Thank you for this simply wonderful recipe!
