A couple of weeks ago I received a nice package in the mail. Inside were several boxes of Barilla® Whole Grain Pasta and a charge to use the pasta in some of my favorite recipes. Would my family like it, would we enjoy the added health benefits?
I made the pasta.
I was very surprised at how quickly the pasta cooked. It took much less time than other whole grain pastas I have tried in the past. I used it in one of my all time favorite recipes, Teriyaki Chicken and Noodle Bowls. The flavor was great! It wasn’t at all heavy and overly grainy. It was different than white pasta in texture, but I found it to be a nice change and added a little bit a variety to the dish.
Did my family like it…you are most certainly wondering.
We eat whole grain pasta around here only on occasion, as I’m generally met with a bit of grumbling when I make it. Let it be known, there was no grumbling when I served them Barilla® Whole Grain pasta. They all enjoyed it, for which I was grateful! I am always looking for ways to include more whole grains, and as it turns out Barilla® Whole Grain pasta is a great way to do it.
Did you know Barilla® Whole Grain pasta is made with 51% whole wheat? It’s an excellent source of fiber, delivering three times the fiber of regular pasta. There is also a taste guarantee. If you try one of the Barilla® Whole Grain Pastas and don’t like it, you can get a free box of Barilla® regular pasta. Isn’t that nice?
They have also made it easy to conquer the dinner time quest with wonderful meal ideas you can access at TryBarillaWholeGrain.com.
Barilla® Whole Grain Pasta, my friends. I recommend it and am eager to try it in more of my recipes. Great taste and the peace of mind that comes from knowing I’ve made something wonderful AND healthy for my family. You can’t beat that.

I love that I can feed my family some nutritious pasta that they really LIKE to eat!
I like the variety of shapes available. But, we still usually stick to the 100% whole wheat store brand pasta.
Love the whole grain pasta-my kids eat it and love it. Thanks Barilla and Jamie.

Love the taste!! Thanks!
We love pasta but it is hard to get some of my family to eat whole wheat pasta, but you can hardly tell the difference with Barilla.
What do I love about pasta? What's not to love? love, love, love. And what's not to love about whole grains – I include them in the dishes I prepare as much as possible.
Thanks for the opportunity to enter!

I love pasta, and if I can get more whole grains and it still tastes good then I like it even more.
I really like the way it tastes.
I love the taste! 🙂
I love that we can still eat pasta but it can be healthy. We are going meatless for the most part and pasta is a big part of that!
Love the taste plus it is healthy for you.

I love that it tastes so good. I recently told a friend who thought she hated whole grain pasta to try Barilla. She is now converted!
I love Barilla thin spaghetti noodles. My kids don't even know we switched to whole grain pasta because it's that good!
I recently bought Barilla whole grain pasta, and it was delicious! I have never minded the taste of whole grain, but I especially liked Barilla's. 🙂

I love that it fills me up quick!
We just discovered this pasta last week and I love it! My favorite part is that it doesn't have that thick gummy texture that true whole wheat does. It is much lighter and has a great flavor. We had it with butter lemon shrimp and the whole family enjoyed it.
I love knowing that the whole wheat pasta is healthier. It makes me feel a little less guilty for eating it all the time!
We love pasta any way and any shape and good pasta is important to us. With Lent starting tomorrow, will be using a lot more of it in some of our favorite Lenten meals.
Will try it!
I love how it fills my little family up quick! My 3 yr old's favorite meal is Mac N Cheese. So I make it with the medium shells and he loves it! Mark another sneaky victory up for the parents! Hahaha!
I love that there is so much fiber in there. Our family is always in need of having lots of fiber in our diet so it works well.

Love the taste and high fiber content 🙂
I love the health benefits of Whole Grain.
I've been wanting to try whole grain pasta, but I didn't want to buy something we ended up hating and wasting an entire meal on a pasta try. I will definitely give Barilla's whole grain pasta a try now. Thanks for the review.
I like to be able to serve my family a healthy pasta that is yummy to eat!
I love the TASTE of Barilla Whole Grain.

I haven't tried much whole grain pasta. I haven't heard great things about it, but this sounds good. Kind of a compromise. I will have to get some next shopping trip!
My family and I love Barilla whole grain pastas!
Lent start on Wed and we need high fiber meals on the no meat days to help fill you up. I like wheat pasta i will look for this in the store.

I love whole grain pastas because pasta is one of my favorite foods and I know that it's not super healthy to eat all the time. When I make whole grain pasta, I feel better about it.
