If you missed the Butter Cream Chicken I posted yesterday, you may want to take a look. Comfort food, plain and simple. 🙂 Now let’s chat about The Olive Garden, shall we?
I love Olive Garden.
And I don’t say this lightly. It really is one of my very favorite restaurants, always has been. The fresh breadsticks win me over ever time. Dip those babies into a steaming hot plate of Chicken and Shrimp Carbonera and life is a beautiful thing, I tell you.
I recently had the opportunity to eat at good old Olive Garden with my family. My husband and I eat there about once a month with friends, but we’ve never taken ALL of our kids to eat there together. Have I mentioned I have just under five thousand children? Ok…not really. Just 5. It seems like five thousand sometimes, alright?
We had a great time at dinner. We were very well taken care of; the staff there is so friendly and attentive. Our drinks were always filled, the meal was presented in a timely fashion, and no one asked me to do the dishes. Come to think of it, they never ask me to do the dishes.
No wonder I like it so much.
Olive Garden is running a great special right now through March 18th. You can get a 3 Course Italian Dinner for $12.95. It comes with all-you-can-eat Breadsticks, Soup or Salad, one of five new entrees, and one of five Dolcini desserts. That’s a lot of food for the price, my friends.
The portion sizes were very large; we ended up taking a lot of it home and had it for lunch the next day. My little boys ordered from the kid’s menu, and also had plenty to take home for later. That means not only were we fed for two meals, but I got to skip out on dish doing, twice.
The food was absolutely wonderful. All in attendance gave it two thumbs up. I especially recommend the Creamy Parmesan Portobello Mushroom Fettuccine as well as the Limoncello Mousse. Pure bliss. Loved every single bite.
Olive Garden and BlogHer would like to give a $100 Olive Garden Gift Card to one of you lucky readers. That’s good news, isn’t it? To enter the giveaway leave me a comment telling me your favorite Italian dish. It can be an Olive Garden dish or another Italian recipe you love.

I think the most important character trait is caring and understand. I have dated alot of guys in the past who never show that to me.

An intriguing diuscssion is worth comment. There’s no doubt that that you should write more on this issue, it might not be a taboo subject but usually people don’t talk about such topics. To the next! Best wishes!!

love Lasagna, Hands down! I could live off of the salad and bread sticks from the Olive Garden!!
I recently tried an Italian Crab Ravioli that was wonderful. I wouldn't normally order ravioli at a restaurant, but I gave it a try and it was Amazing. I let everyone at the table (luckily only 3 other people) try a bite and they all agreed it was the best order on the table. Who Knew! Love Olive Garden, haven't been in awhile.
If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite eaohrpnes, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.
