A couple of weeks ago my sweet daughter Emily turned the ripe old age of 10. Wow, double digits and everything. Time sure does fly by in a fast hurry, doesn’t it?
For Emily’s family birthday dinner we had Homemade Won Tons with Dipping Sauce (her ultimate…ULTIMATE, never to be replaced favorite). For dessert she asked me to make something with peanut butter cups and ice cream. So, I came up with this little ditty of a dessert.
It’s absolutely divine, my friends. If you like peanut butter cups, creamy ice cream and hot fudge you’ll be in seventh heaven. The ice cream is homemade, but you don’t need an ice cream machine to make it happen. Just whipping cream, sweetened condensed milk and five minutes to beat it. The ice cream turns out oh so creamy, rich and smooth. Much better than ice cream purchased from the store. Hope you’ll give it a try!

This looks so good, my husband would absolutely love this!
Fabulous! Looks easy enough for me. My husband just told me he has an addiction to peanut butter. I'll have to make this recipe.
Oh! Jen is gorgeous! I love her. And this looks amazing. All my favorite things.
Oh, my! This looks amazing.
I will make this for my quilt group when it is my turn to bring dessert. They will love it!

OH MY HECK! It's like my two favorite things, peanut butter and ice-cream, TOGETHER!
I made this for my cousin's birthday last weekend and she loved it! And I can't stop thinking about it. Instead of the oreo crust I put it all over a pan of brownies–amaazzzing!
I made this for my Dad's surprised birthday party. It was AMAZING! My sisters couldn't believe the ice cream wasn't store bought! Thank you Jamie!!!
This looks amazing! I will add it to my “Try it out” list. Thanks!
So after making the Oreo Turtle Bars I had to make this for dear daughter's birthday party at home (gotta fatten up those kids!) and it was AMAZING! My son declared that I had to make a double batch for his upcoming birthday so that there would be enough for seconds (Daughter's cake lasted only seconds before it was completely inhaled by everyone here.) Awesome recipe. Or as the kids would say, “…it's beyond awesome! It's 'beyawesome'!!!”
I’m so mean, I’m like, Isn’t it hot? Lets go swimming! I just have to do all of these chroes first Help me so we can go. We need to get them done by this time or we cant go. Haha, do chroes first!
I just discovered your blog….I'm IN LOVE with all the delicious food you have on here! Also, your sister Jen is one of my best friends from high school! Small world!
