{GIVEAWAY} Ninja Kitchen System 1100

by Jamie
THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED

Today, because the sky is blue and the grass is green and summer is buzzing and smoothie making season is in the air and because my kitchen sink is pretty and clean tonight (a small miracle) and because I so truly appreciate you all coming around here to read my ramblings and try my recipes…

I thought I would give an amazing Ninja Kitchen System 1100 to one of you dear readers. My husband purchased one for me several months ago, and wow. I am really in love with it. It blends things better than any other blender I have owned. Must be the triple blade, right? I love that it comes with a large and small pitcher, because sometimes I want to blend big and sometimes I want to blend small, if you know what I’m saying here.

Besides blending and pureeing, it comes with the capacity to mix cookie dough and pizza dough. It also whips cream like a dream. It really is an amazing tool. Much more than a blender.

I love it.
I hope one of you will love it, too.

To enter to win just leave me a little old comment telling me what kind of recipes you would like to see me post this summer. Are you looking for more dinner ideas? Do you love cookie recipes? Maybe you are looking for some tasty frozen treats, grilling ideas or fun patriotic themed goodies. I’d love to hear about what you’d like to see. Please leave your email address with your comment so I have a way to find you. 🙂

Winner to be announced on Wednesday June 6th.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi Jamie!
I love your blog! I love to see your party themes and the recipes. I think one of my favorite recipes is your bread recipe. It makes me feel like an amazing cook, because I finally can make bread! So much of my cooking “self esteem” has come from baking all sorts of bread. I especially laughed when I read your post about the dinner rolls, and you working at the Lion House. And the fact you could never get them to turn out like theirs!
I am in the same boat sister. I grew up in a family that swears by the Lion House recipes. Even though I didn't grow up in Utah. Thanks for all your hard work, it is great!

Hi Jamie, I love your blog. It always makes me smile when I read your little stories at the beginning of a recipe. I have passed on your site to friends and family members. We all really enjoy your creations. The trifle was probably our biggest hit. Yum! I would love to have some more vegetarian main dishes and of course more decedent dessert recipes for the summer. Thank you for your willingness to rearcesh and share with your readers what you find. I appreciate the question already mentioned about what to do when you go outside this country for mission trips or vacations, etc.? That also leads me to a question what about college. And is there a way to find out what would happen if we stopped them altogether would we be back to facing the horrible ramifications of these diseases in our country? If you chose to do some vaccines but exempt from others which would those be and why?Just like with all medications that we take it is wise to read and look at the side effects. This is a controversial issue but I appreciate how you plan to handle it. I will not state as to what our family chose to do simply to not put pressure on anyone. These are just a few of my questions that I’ve had over the years but kind of put them aside and haven’t thought about them in a while. Thanks,Nancy

I have a collection of your recipes in a 3 ring binder and every one has been used over and over; some have been used so much they stick together. I frequently forward your ideas to other friends who cook, and we'd all love to try more ways of cooking the variety of vegetables now showing up at our local farmers' markets. Thank you for having this giveaway!

Great post! You are totally right! It IS your space. You do have a right to your own oiinpon. And THIS is your platform to post it. I personally appreciate that you do so in a respectful manner, but that’s why I subscribe to you I enjoy reading what you have to say. If I didn’t, I would unsubscribe! (Also my prerogative. No one is forcing me to read what you write!)I have the same problem whenever I post anything controversial, either on my blog or my personal FaceBook page. Even people I’ve been friends with for decades belittle and trash me for respectfully uttering an oiinpon that is different than their own. As a previous commenter pointed out, it has way more to do with them than you.Keep on with the great posts!

Tyler,I wanted to tell you that you’re not alone with the push back you get. I have run into sliimar comments from friends, even family. A friend of mine put it very well, God does give man knowledge, revelation and downloads of new ideas/projects/things however when man is not seeking to glorify God or his kingdom he can use that knowledge to create things that are not of God. Take for example music. Musical instruments, sound, rhythm, etc is all created by the Lord however man can use it to God’s glory or use it for his/the Enemy’s glory. Hope that makes sense. Blessings to your in our journey.

I love all that you post. You are one of few. I would love to see breakfast ideas, as well as pork ideas. I am not much of a pork eater and my family loves it. I would like to have more options to try to see if I can find something I would enjoy. And since you are giving away the blender maybe some great ideas that use that.

Thanks,
Mylynda
