Dole Banana Dippers and a Ladies Luncheon

by Jamie

Last week, I invited some ladies over for lunch. Boy, we had a great time. We chatted about how wonderful summer time is. 🙂 We shared the latest adventures our kids have been having. We talked over the price of groceries, the recent incline in the real estate market and then we laughed a lot. Not because houses are flying off the market where we live (they totally are!) But, because it was just so great to be together.

Having a good hearty laugh with dear friends is like medicine, would you agree? It cures a lot of things.  I love these gals like crazy, I do. Any time I can spend with them is time well spent.

Besides enjoying a great hearty laugh and visit, I was able to introduce my gals to these Banana Dippers from Dole. In each package there are 4 slices of frozen banana that have been dipped in dark chocolate.

They are also available with almonds, which is how I prefer them. The regular package is 100 calories, while the bananas with almonds are 120 calories per package. Pretty great for a healthy snack, wouldn’t you agree! They are being stocked at grocery stores around the country. You can find them with the frozen fruit at your favorite store.

My friends and I enjoyed snacking on Banana Dippers! We also had a yummy lunch that included (among other things!) these Turkey Pesto Sandwiches that I ended up grilling instead of baking in the oven.

We also enjoyed these Neapolitans made by my friend Cindi. Don’t they look gorgeous! She’s got a real talent for making beautiful desserts.  They also taste like pure heaven. (Hoping to post them in the near future). I think they only have 5, 000 more calories per serving…

than these. 🙂 Good to know that these Dole Banana Dippers are available to fill my treat craving any time I like. I wish I could eat Neapolitan any time I wanted to. But, I’m pretty sure eating them for breakfast, lunch and dinner might be hazardous to my health. Right?

Dole Banana Dippers, ladies and gentlemen. Give them a healthy try!

Every time I get on your website, I hear “ghost” voices. I was wondering if it is just MY computer or if anyone else hear my “friends”!

I would love to get the recipe for the neapolitans. They look absolutely delicious. Also, are the sandwiches the same as your Costco turkey pesto ones but grilled instead?

Hi Tammy,
Yes, the turkey sandwiches are the same as the Costco turkey provolone melts, I just grilled them instead. Also, I am hoping to post the Neapolitan recipe soon.
Thanks!

I also wanted to comment that I hear voices in the background of posts.

I hear the voice too. Today’s conversation is about drawing cats. Nothing I’d ever be interested in, btw.

I just bought these for the Dole banana dippers first time and can’t wait to try them. I tried making them at home but I kind of made a really big mess. They tasted good but they weren’t very pretty.
LOL!

Oh, good! It’s wonderful to know it wasn’t just me hearing voices when I was reading your posts. LOL I understand having ads on the web, but it just seems so rude for companies to interrupt us when we are trying to read your posts. I’m glad to hear you are trying to get rid of the distraction. But don’t worry, it doesn’t and won’t stop me from dropping by to get your latest yummy recipe, Jamie! Thank you for all your effort and work to make this a pleasant blog to visit!
