Two Ingredient Creamy Onion Chip Dip

by Jamie

The winner of the Children’s Book “I’m the Scariest Thing in the Jungle” is Lori Nahoum! Congrats to you! I will contact you shortly to get your shipping info. Now to the recipe at hand…

Last week, on Halloween night my daughter Anna had a bunch of friends over for a little costume party.

They ate scones and giggled, and laughed, told a few funny stories to each other and then watched a scary movie. My friend Heather sent her kids to the party with a fabulous Creamy Onion Chip dip to share. Man, it was good. MyHandsomeHusband and I kept sneaking bites and saying to each other “Holy cats, what is in this!” and wondering things like “Gee wiz, how have we never eaten this fabulous dip before!” and “Good glory, this dip goes well with an almond joy or two or five.”

It was Halloween after all, and you know how chocolate gets to lurking around every corner on that day. 🙂

Creamy Onion Chip Dip from Jamie Cooks It Up!

So, like I always do when I taste something fabulous that I love and think you all will love too…I tracked down my cute friend Heather and asked for the recipe. She said it was so totally easy, I wouldn’t believe it…just two ingredients is all I would need to make it happen.

And here they are, ladies and gentlemen. Lipton Onion Soup Mix and good old Sour Cream.  I bet many of you have eaten this dip before, am I right? You can think of this post then, as a sort of reminder. Keep it in the back of your mind and pull it out when you have some cute hungry teenagers to feed, or for and appetizer at your thanksgiving table, you could make it on game day, on Sunday or a Monday…any day, would actually be a good fit come to think of it.

Yum! You can also buy ranch dressing/dip mix in the salad dressing isle too and trade the mixes with the sour cream. Yum!

Hi, Pat!Who knew? There’s nothing like nosotnp video games for bringing old college friends together. We never did order pizza: we survived the whole event on chips, guacamole, diet pop, and sugary sweets. I woke up at noon today; I think I’ll be getting to bed a little early tonight, but hopefully by tomorrow I’ll be fine.Pat, you would be proud to know that I defeated Jim’s Panthers using none other than the Cleveland Browns. The Browns are so low on the Madden 2005 radar that the players don’t have names. There was one play in which the Browns’ backup quarterback Number 1 was sacked by Panthers All-Star Julius Peppers. P.S. I was surprised not to get a comment in protest from you about the demise of Satire Fridays. I will try to keep it up with the satire on Word Munger, though.

This is my favorite potluck thing to bring to parties. So easy, yet so good!! We also use it as a veggie dip.

Frankyb dit :Rendu le0, ils devraient plutf4t apelepr e7a le Clusterf*ck Chart of the Day . I grew up eating this yummy dip but we always made it with 32 oz. of sour cream to one packet of soup mix. Super yummy but not as strong. 🙂
