Weekly Menu Plan March 16-22 and a sad story

by Jamie

Before we talk about this weeks menu, I need to clear up a few housekeeping issues. Super late on Friday night, without my knowledge, there were a few glitches within the interface of my site and unfortunately ALL of the posts I published last week were deleted. Good times, ladies and gentlemen. What a great way to start a Saturday morning, yes. 🙂 Two recipe posts, along with this weeks Weekend Report (a fun post detailing a family trip we took recently), a recipe roundup of 10 Rotisserie Chicken Recipes and a scheduled version of this weeks Weekly Menu were all lost. I apologize if any of you happened to be looking  for the Homemade Fajita Mix or Skillet Chicken Fajita recipes I posted last week. I will be rewriting those posts in the coming days and placing them back into the recipe file. Until then, if you need either of these recipes you can access the printable version of Homemade Fajita Mix HERE, and the printable version of Skillet Chicken Fajitas HERE. I will also be replacing the Rotisserie Chicken Roundup as well, and am hoping to schedule The Weekend Report to post this coming Saturday.

I love losing 20 hours worth of work, don’t you.  It makes me super happy, from my head clear down to my toes. Technology…a wonder, amazement and frustration all rolled into one. Thank you for your patience! I hope there weren’t too many of you walking around fajita-less this weekend. 🙂

Keep scrolling down for this weeks menu, gang.  Hope you find something to love!

Oh my goodness, so sorry that happened to you!!! One thing though, YOU MAKE EVERYTHING SO FUNNY! Good grief, I ended up chuckling at your misfortune because you are so doggone funny! While I had a trickle of guilt over that, I then realized I should just give you copious praise for taking a rotten thing and making it amusing for the rest of us. My grandmother had a phrase when we did something well, “good show!”, she would announce trimphantly. So I say to you, “GOOD SHOW!” You took a crummy experience and showed grace and humor. I am always so amused by your posts (and love the recipes, of course), but today you really, really impressed me. (I do hope you can recover your losses more easily than you anticipate. My heart goes out to you.)

I want to “back up” Jesse and say to you, Jamie—Good Show, Girl! You are truly AWESOME! Way to go with a “rotten” turn of luck! Sometimes I really think my computer and the “world” behind it are “out to get me”, personally! From this point forward–have a truly FABULOUS WEEK!!!

(Your posts and recipes make my weeks Fabulous–every week!)

Ditto to the above comments. I love your personality and how it shines through every post. It makes visiting your blog very enjoyable…On another note, and not to add more to your stress, but is it possible to get the Blog Her pop up add to stop popping up at the top of your blog? It doesn’t pop up on any of my other pages I visit, so wondered if you may have an idea of how to get rid of it? Thanks. 🙂

ARGH! Oh, no! 20 hours? Twenty? Dang it, I’m sorry, that’s horrid. I tried several times yesterday to read your Weekend Report and couldn’t find it, so now I know why. If you do manage to get it rewritten for next weekend I shall look forward to it eagerly. I enjoy reading about you and your family as much as I enjoy your lovely recipe posts with the glorious procedural photos. Shoot. Again, I’m sorry.

I was wondering what had happened when I couldn’t see the rotisserie chicken post. So glad they are still coming next week. It just makes it more exciting cause we are anxiously anticipating them. Sorry it means more work for you. Trying the honey dijon chicken for the first time with lemon butter rice. It smells delicious and I can’t wait for it to be done.
