Merry Christmas from my family to yours! I wish you a very happy holiday with those you love.

Instead of passing along another new recipe to you all today, I wanted to share a wonderful holiday video instead. It’s one of my favorites.  I showed it to my primary class last Sunday at church and they loved it.  It’s a clip from The Mormon Tabernacle Choir Concert (from a few years back) and tells the amazing story of The Candy Bomber. There’s beautiful music included and a fantastic narration by Tom Brokaw. The story delivers the Christmas message of kindness and giving in such a touching way. Hope you enjoy it. 🙂

I’ll be taking some time off from posting for the next week or so. There is a holiday to celebrate, after all, yes? I will be posting my annual Most Popular Recipes of 2015 and My Personal Favorite Recipes of 2015 next week as we head into the new year. Hope to see you then.

Have a beautiful holiday, each and every one of you!

  1. Thank you for the video of The Candy Bomber. It was very touching and moving. (I wish there was one more Sunday this month to get in the last two lessons and this video as well. Maybe we can squeeze them all in together somehow.) Thank you for all you do for those of us who luv and use your recipes almost daily. I hope your Christmas is filled with love and kindness. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

  2. Thank you so much Jamie for that wonderful video. We so enjoyed it. I made sure it was forwarded to my family to enjoy as well. I don’t think I’ve commented before, but just wanted you to know I really love your blog. Your recipes have helped me improve my cooking/baking skills, so my husband is thankful! You have a beautiful family & a kind caring heart! Merry Christmas to you and yours!
