Sometimes, I really…

really…

…really get to craving a warm cinnamon roll complete with a gooey cinnamon filling and a heavenly maple glaze dripping off the edge. Yum! Unfortunately, I don’t always have time to whip up a batch of homemade cinnamon rolls and I have to make other arrangements, my friends. These wonderful Cinnamon Roll Muffins are a fabulous substitute, truly. You can make a batch in about 30 minutes and they are loaded with fabulous cinnamon flavor and that maple glaze I love so much.

Hope some of you get a chance to try them! My family gave them 7 thumbs up. 🙂

  1. These cinnamon roll muffins did not disappoint! I got up and baked these for my daughters birthday breakfast because around here there is nothing greater than your cinnamon rolls for breakfast, but on a school day they are a little tricky for me to pull off. Here are some of my favorite quotes from the morning: “Sister Eskelson is a genius!” and my little guy said, “I don’t know what to ask for on my birthday, I think I might ask for these instead of cinnamon rolls, which is saying a lot!”
Thank you, Jamie! You’ve done it again!

  2. I made these a few days ago and they are wonderful! I am not a frosting fan so I left that off and everyone adored them. They are sweet enough without it and really tasty. I will make these often.. thanks!

  3. I’m not sure about these. The flavor is great, but every time I make these the crumb topping melts off the muffins and all over my muffin tins. What am I doing wrong?

      1. Hi Laura,
As I mentioned to Rebecca…I would try filling the muffin tins less full with batter. That should give the topping more of a chance to incorporate with the batter, instead of just running off of it. As an added bonus you’ll also yield a few more muffins. 🙂
        Hope this helps!

  4. I am baking these as I write.
For the topping I added a little flour to make it more of a streusel topping. They look and smell pretty good so far. The family is already waiting to enjoy them.

  5. I found this recipe from link hopping and decided to try this. I was a bit apprehensive about this recipe I tried something like this before and it turned out like crap. I was very surprised at how well these turned out and before I knew I they were gone. This one is a keeper.

  6. These cinnamon roll muffins were so easy to make and delicious at the same time. I will be making these again real soon! Thank you for the great recipe!
