Decorating inspiration from this post
Make sure to use a good quality good coloring. I found these on the cake decorating aisle at my local Wal-Mart.
For the santa hats, you’ll need two different Wilton tips. The red frosting is piped with tip #4B and the white with #199.
Make a large red swirl of stacked frosting in the center of each cupcake.
Pipe the white frosting around the edges and on the top of the red hat.
That’s it! Super easy. 🙂
For the Holly Wreath Cupcakes you’ll use Wilton tip #21 to pipe the green holly leaves and tip #3 to pipe the red berries and bow.
Start by spreading white frosting with a butter knife over the top of each cupcake.
Pipe the green holly leaves first,
then add the red berries and bow. Cute! I had such a fun time making these!
Sort of like a kid in a candy store, if you will. Playing with colorful frosting is my kind of gig, I can tell you that! Hope some of you get a chance to make them. They are fun for kids and adults alike.
