Hey there, gang. To the end of the year we all have arrived, like it or not. It’s always nice to take a little time and reflect on the things we have enjoyed doing over the past year, and ponder on the things we would like to fix. Two of my main goals this year, are to read the scriptures more with my kids and get a better handle on music lessons for each one. Cross your fingers for me, won’t you. Music lessons, times 5 kids can sometimes equal one stressed out Mama. I am hoping to tackle it better this year! Try, try again, is what they say, isn’t it. 🙂
This past year, I have so enjoyed writing this blog and it continues to be a nice bright spot in my life. Thank you ever so much for stopping by to read my ramblings and most of all for trying these recipes. I am always so thrilled to hear of your cooking successes! It makes my day on a regular basis, and for that I thank you.
For you today, I have compiled a list of the 12 recipes I loved the most from this years postings. They have become household favorites around here. Hope you enjoy taking a look! See you back here on Wednesday, for my January Menu Plan. Shake off the fudge and make room for some vegetables, man. Let’s take a skinny ride for a while, ok?
Hey J – I love seeing your fav post of the past year…. I’m late for lunch and your blog does not help matters! I posted my top 10 today. I hope you’ll stop by for a looksee. Take care, and have a blessed new year!
Hi Jamie! I have been following you for awhile now & I love your food! It’s impossible to choose a favorite~~~but~~~the Meatball Minestrone Soup for the crockpot is awesome :0). The pumpkin fudge would be next in the goodie department. I love anything pumpkin. This new year I will be doing your frozen meals & getting the freezer stocked. I appreciate the care you take in showing us the “how to’s” & the layout of the finished dishes. Gotta love your sense of humor too! Thanks again for a great year & can’t wait to get into the new year’s offerings. Happy New Year & Blessings to you & your family.
XO, Linda

Just wanted to let you know how much I love your blog. Yours is the first one I ever started following and though I have now found others, yours is still my favorite. I thoroughly enjoy your stories about your beautiful family and I have probay made over 50 of your recipes and have loved every one of them. I actually have a large cookbook collection, but have decided to get rid of most of them, as I have mostly made your recipes. Thank you again and I hope you and your family have a happy and healthy new year

Jamie,
I have a question about your easy coconut cream pie. In the list of ingredients you show 1 1/2 cups of coconut. In the recipe where you toast the coconut, you say 2 cups. Should it be 1 1/2 or 2 cups of coconut?
