I love cheesy vegetable soup!
My favorite (and my family’s too!) recipe in cold weather is a baked oatmeal recipe I got from a church recipe book we put together a few years ago. It only has 1/2 cup of brown sugar in a 13×9″ baking pan and uses those awesome frozen berries from Costco that you stir in during the last 15 minutes of baking. The end result tastes like a cross between oatmeal and coffee cake – dessert for breakfast AND IT’S HEALTHY! Takes moments to throw together, and you can do other stuff while it bakes.
