Today, because the sky is blue and the grass is green and summer is buzzing and smoothie making season is in the air and because my kitchen sink is pretty and clean tonight (a small miracle) and because I so truly appreciate you all coming around here to read my ramblings and try my recipes…
to one of you dear readers. My husband purchased one for me several months ago, and wow. I am really in love with it. It blends things better than any other blender I have owned. Must be the triple blade, right? I love that it comes with a large and small pitcher, because sometimes I want to blend big and sometimes I want to blend small, if you know what I’m saying here. Besides blending and pureeing, it comes with the capacity to mix cookie dough and pizza dough. It also whips cream like a dream. It really is an amazing tool. Much more than a blender.
I love it.

Well, now that school is out and there are SEVEN young kids at home all day long, I am looking for super quick dinner ideas. Things that are simple to prepare, (crockpot savvy) things that are sure to be kid pleasing and that don't require a lot of cleanup. Even some great snack ideas are wonderful.
