February Menu Plan 2012

February Menu Plan 2012

The calendar has turned a page once again my friends. January is but a memory and February has arrived in all of its wonderful conversation hearted glory.  And I bet you are glad, aren’t you? Glad to see another crusty old winter month come to a close and glad to see Valentines Day coming round the mountain.

For some reason February just feels better than January. It’s just that much closer to spring and flowers and kids playing outside and warm breezes and cooking Grilled Chicken Bruschetta on my back porch grill and eating dinner while the sun is still out. Spring is creeping up on us, you know. Even as we speak.

Is something to smile about.

I have my February Menu Plan ready for you this morning. As usual colored titles are links to recipe posts already on the site. Black titles are recipes I’m working on and hoping to post for you all in the near future. If you see something listed below you would like to see posted sooner than later, feel free to leave me a comment with your opinion. Or, if there is a recipe you would love to see my take on, let me know. I always love a little feedback.

Also wanted to let you know that I have a $100 Cooking.com Gift Card to give away, sponsored by BlogHer and Pam Cooking Spray.  Click here to see that post.

Mmm. Can't wait to try some of these out. I'm looking forward to the bagel recipe. We recently tried pretzels and I hear bagels are similar!

Can I possibly get the recipe for the cinnamon dessert pizza? We are doing a dessert bar after our sons upcoming baptism and this would be so perfect. I sure would appreciate it. Love your recipes! (am planning on sugar cookie bars to make an appearance at dessert bar) shansen20@ hotmail dot com

Capn Crunch cereal is my fav. My brother and I used to buy a box at the 7-11 on Sundays before delivering our papers… no wonder we never had any tip money left at the end of the month. LOL!
