Dripping with the spicy flavors of buffalo sauce, these fabulous sandwiches are sure please those of you with an affection for food with a kick. They are super easy to put together, only 10 minutes prep on this one, guys! You just toss some chicken into the crock pot (frozen chicken breasts work out fine!), pour a buffalo/ranch sauce over the top and let it simmer throughout the day. When your hungry crew is ready for dinner, just shred the chicken up, slather a bit of ranch or blue cheese dressing over some crusty rolls, top with the chicken, some cool cheddar cheese and crisp lettuce. A great combination, wouldn’t you agree?

I love these, I really do.

Spicy goodness at it’s best!

Make them for dinner, have some for lunch. Serve them on Game Day, your Birthday or just to celebrate plain old Wednesday Evening.

Hope you love them, guys. Let me show you the details…

  1. They look great! Are they spicy? We’re wimps in our house. And if so, would regular barbecue sauce taste good instead?

    1. Molly and Petra,
It would be great with regular BBQ sauce! Definitely less spicy. Good luck! Let me know if you try it and how it works out. 🙂

  2. Looks awesome, can’t wait to try! My boys love Frank’s hot sauce. The ranch type rolls look amazing what kind & where did you purchase them? Thank you for all your delicious recipes!

    1. Sallie,
I got the ranch style rolls from walmart. They are really great and stay fresh for a long time. 🙂 Best of luck to you!

  3. I made these and they tasted fantastic! The only substitution I made was to leave out the bread and serve them in lettuce wraps for a lower carb value. Thank you!

  4. Thank you for the delicious recipe! I got home too late to put in the crockpot, so I made it in the oven. Used a enamel coated cast iron Dutch oven. First put on stove top, heated the Buffalo sauce and ranch, dumped in the frozen chicken and turned with tongs to coat. Put the lid on and baked at 325 for 1.5 hours, shredded with forks right in the pot and back in the oven for 30 min. Worked awesome if you have the ingredients but not 4 or 7 hours!

  5. Thanks for the great recipe. I love your site, but it freezes my computer up every time I visit! 🙁
