Cheap and Easy Last Minute Gifts with Free Printables

by Jamie on December 20, 2011

So we are getting to the last minute you know.
Or at least the last week!
We are down to the last few days available to give and surprise and show a little love to those in your neighborhood, and at work and to those lucky individuals you socialize with.
It’s always fun to get little bags of treats and bottles of pop
and platters of goodies this time of year, isn’t it?
I have received some cute gifts in the past that I thought were especially fun and clever. Today, I’ve put some of these ideas together for your viewing pleasure and have also made some printable tags to go with each one.
Just in case you really are in a panic at this point and haven’t thought of anything to pass around.
I’ll give you a little tip…I bet if you don’t get to it…
and you don’t pass a darn thing around to your neighbors
no one will boo and hiss at you or anything.
They may throw eggs…
Just tossing that little tid bit out there for your own protection.
You’re very welcome.
Ok, let’s get to it.
Let me show you a few last minute ideas.
GIFT IDEA #1
Take a look at this cute little poem….
Print this poem off and buy yourself a few new
Washers and Dryers, tie them up pretty and deliver.

Those have got to be the cheapest
Washers and Dryers I have ever seen.
Wouldn’t you agree?

GIFT IDEA #2

Make some “goodies” of your choice…

Buy some cheap dust pans at the dollar store and fill them with treats, wrap with plastic wrap, add the little tag, a pretty ribbon or two and you are ready to roll.

GIFT IDEA #3
Whip up some cookie dough of your choice, wrap it in plastic wrap…
Put it in a cute container and add the tag and some ribbon.
On the back of the tag you could write the cooking time and temperature needed to bake the dough.
Any of these cookie recipes would work well.

Grandma’s Chocolate Chip Cookies
Gingersnap Cookies
White Chocolate Coconut Cookies
Lemon White Chocolate Cookies
Almond Butter Sugar Cookies

Have a good one…see you back here tomorrow.
I’ll be here with a little something grand for you Holiday Feast.

Cute ideas! I actually was given the “washer and dryer” gift from a neighbor this year and she added a small bottle of dish soap to it :) I thought it was very clever! And useful too!

I just have been introduced to your blog and I am loving it! I just found this post about the great ideas for little but lovely gifts! I wish that I had these ideas before Christmas but I will be using them next year. Although they would make great little fun gifts throughout the year as well! Thanks!

Thanks for visiting...I would love to hear from you!
