Hello there, gang. Thanks for hanging in there with me during this Week Of Frilly Fancy Shower Type Recipes And Ideas. 🙂
Next week I’ll be back to my usual posting of What In The World Can I Make To Feed My Ever Hungry Family. Because I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but breakfast lunch and dinner roll around every single day weather we like it or not, right? I’ve been cooking up a storm this week and am excited to show you the things I’ve been working on.
Also, I wanted to let you know that the good ladies at Gooseberry Patch are featuring me on their site today. An honor, truly. If you are up for reading a bit more about me and my family, click on over and take a look.
I am also guest posting today at Or So She Says, if you’d like to pay them a visit.
And finally (before we get to the parchment cones, for goodness sake!) I have a fun little giveaway for you all today. My Memories is giving a free copy of their digital scrapbooking software to one of you. If you enjoy playing around with graphic design or love digital scrapbooking this is the program you have been looking for! I made the little graphics pictured in the photo with My Memories software. It’s a lot of fun to play with, I’m excited to have my own copy. Besides offering basic software, My Memories also has a lot of cute Digital Scrapbooking Kits in all sort of themes, that are very affordable.
To enter the giveaway just leave me a comment at the bottom of this post telling me your favorite kind of popcorn. Cheddar, Crunchy Caramel Corn, Cinnamon Bear Popcorn, White Chocolate Popcorn, Pretty Purple Popcorn, I Hate Popcorn…what ever your preference may be, let me know about it. Please leave me your email address with your comment. You can enter to win until Thursday March 22nd. Winner will be announced on Friday March 23rd.
ALRIGHT! Let’s talk Parchment Paper Cones. Sound good?
These fun little cones are perfect way to fancy up a party and work well for holding all kinds of yummy things. I filled mine with Crunchy Caramel Popcorn and White Chocolate Popcorn. (As a little side note: I used Violet Candy Wafers, instead of the called for white chocolate chips in the White Chocolate Popcorn recipe.)
Let’s make some cones, shall we?
I love warm, buttery, salty popcorn!

I love buttered and salted popcorn with plain M & M's thrown into the bowl. The heat softens the m & m's and the choc with the salt and butter is FABULOUS!!!
My favorite is Caramel Corn that my mother “USE TO” make at Christmas time. I continue to tell her she needs to practice but it's been several years since I've enjoyed a handful. Your fan! [email protected]
I LOVE Kettle corn!! $5.00 a bag- Sure!! It's a good thing the fair only comes once a year or I'd have to have a special savings fund for kettle corn.
Crunchy Caramel Corn ~ yum yum!!
I love caramel corn- the sticky kind! Yum!

My parents always used flavored colorful popcorn in our Easter baskets instead of the messy grass.
so happy I found your blog through a pintrest I can't wait everyday to see what you have done that day…I love the papercone idea, and I will be heading to KC to topsys this weekend so I will get me some easter color popcorn…
Have a great day Jamie…
Definitely caramel corn – with some nuts thrown in! 🙂 2nd place would definitely be the movie theater stuff – with extra butter. I try to stay away from both ~ NOT a good thing for my closet!
I would have to fight my kids for the Crunchy Caramel Corn! I'd win! :0)
