A few changes coming your way

Hey there, thanks for dropping by today! Now that the summer months are drawing to a close and fall is upon us, I have a couple of changes I wanted to let you know about regarding this little blog of mine. Nothing too major or earth shattering, just some scheduling adjustments, if you will. I am nearing the close of my 6th year of blogging, friends.  Last week I published post number 1000. That is a lot of food and lot of recipes! Seriously, that number is crazy to me.  I so appreciate all of your support through the years. I still get such a kick out of hearing about your cooking successes! Your comments and words of appreciating keep me kicking, truly. I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to know that this pile of recipes is beneficial to you all. Thank you for coming by to read them and make them in your own homes.

Now, for the scheduling changes.

This week I have two great new recipes to share with you, as well as a fun post about how to save money on groceries. Stay tuned for those to appear in a random order. After this week, I will be adopting the following posting schedule.

The Weekly Menu Plan will now be posted early Saturday morning, instead of Sunday morning. I know many of you try to get your shopping for the week done over the weekend and I am hoping that by posting the plan earlier in the weekend more of you will be better served. I hope you are enjoying these menu plan posts! I see that many of you come by to use them and that makes me super happy. It’s fun for me to look through the archives and remember great recipes that have been posted here over the years.

New recipe posts will most often be published on Monday and Wednesday mornings. I am looking forward to sharing many great new recipes with you! Fall is such a wonderful time to cook and bake! I am looking forward to it! Bring on the pumpkin, and the apples. And the peaches for that matter.

The Weekend Report posts (that have less to do with food and more to do with everyday life, family and the crazy goings on around here) will be renamed The Week’s Report and will be posted on Thursdays instead of Saturdays (most likely not every week, but whenever I feel there is something worthwhile to share. I’m hoping to make that happen 2-3 times per month).

Also, I wanted to let you know that the SEARCH BAR has finally been repaired! It is in wonderful working order thanks to my great Web Developer. If I could type the clapping emoji here, I would. Like 10 of them. Thanks for your patience with the broken search bar! It works now! Woot! Woot! Use it as much or as little as your needs require.

    Jamie! I love your blog. I live in Milano, Italy, and I truly wait for your posts. Thanks for these wonderful recipes: I have tried many of them and some are always present in our gatherings. Time flies..It’s true. Thanks again!

    You said your Search Bar is working … does that also include a way to save recipes? How can I save recipes … Ziplist no longer exists. I don’t see your blue “Save Recipe” button ???

      Thanks for your question. Unfortunately, with there is no longer a way to save recipes to the recipe box. That feature was installed through Ziplist and they are no longer in business. So sorry for the inconvenience.

      I use Pinterest to save Jamie’s recipes. After I try a recipe I go back and comment on my pin whether or not I liked it, want to make it again, etc.

    Thank you so much for your site. I found a recipe of yours a year or two back on Pinterest and have been subscribed to your emails ever since. I would say about 95% of the recipes I bake/cook with come from you. Thank you so much for such wonderful, delicious recipes!

    Carolyn, I have been using a service called Yumprint to save recipes. Such a great free service. There is a cute little icon that you click up in the toolbar to save the recipe.
