Hello there friends and welcome to a post featuring a super easy marinade for Grilled Steak. Doesn’t it feel good to be able to get outside and fire up the grill! We are loving it, of that you can be sure. This simple marinade can be assembled in just minutes and really gives the steak a fabulous flavor. I hope some of you get a chance to try it!

The Best Grilled Steak Marinade

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 6 hours

Yield: 3-4 servings

Ingredients

2 pounds beef steaks (not frozen)
1/2 C balsamic vinegar
1/2 C soy sauce
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Montreal Steak Seasoning
1/3 C root beer

Instructions

1. Place the beef in a gallon sized ziplock bag.
2. Mix all the other ingredients in a glass measuring cup. Pour it all over the top of the beef, seal well and store in the fridge for 6-12 hours.
3. Cook on an outdoor grill, according to your liking.

  1. This is really good stuff! It has all the ingredients we love in a marinade. The root beer was the reason we are going to try it. We have been using Ted’s Montana Grill Seasoning instead of the Montreal Seasoning for a while now.
