My family all gave them the thumbs up, which is a good sign…yes?
There are a lot of great possibilities with this tasty treasure. Make them for an easy lunch, dinner, after school snack, or bring to a party as an appetizer.
The saucy meat and bean mixture is cooked all in one skillet, making for easy cleanup as well. It’s layered with flavors, that give it a great smokey bbq vibe.
I hope you get a chance to try them!

- Add all other ingredients (except the tortilla chips, cheese and optional toppings).
- Cook and stir until combined and then allow it to simmer for 5 minutes or so. Add more salt and pepper to taste.
- Spoon onto tortilla chips and top with cheese, and any of the optional toppings you care for.
