Pumpkin Kiss Cookies + 29 Delicious Pumpkin Recipes

Hello all! Today is National Pumpkin Day, a pretty great day to celebrate indeed. I love pumpkin and look so forward to baking it into all kinds of deliciousness every fall. And sometimes in the Spring, perhaps even in the summer and also in the morning, noon and night. I love it! Truly I do! To celebrate this national food holiday I’ve brought along a new recipe for Pumpkin Kiss Cookies. They are wonderfully soft and flavorful on the outside while being slightly crispy on the outside. The Hershey Kiss pressed into the center gives them a smooth richness that compliments the cookie perfectly. The pumpkin flavor is pretty mild. My kids didn’t believe me when I told them they were pumpkin cookies. They thought them to be the traditional Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies from my archives. If you have kids with a peanut allergy these cookies would be perfect.

Besides the Pumpkin Kiss Cookie recipe (you will find below), several of my blogging friends have put together amazing pumpkin recipes to share with you as well. You can see their links, plus a handfull of links to pumpkin recipes from my archives, all at the end of this post.

It is National Pumpkin Day, after all! Might as well celebrate big, yes? Why share one pumpkin recipe, when a person like me could share 29. 🙂 Hope you enjoy!

I love the idea of a kiss on top instead of chocolate chips inside! They look so good!

Ooh, very promising! They look like they don’t have that dreaded cakey texture (DUN DUN DUN!) you always get with pumpkin cookies. I’ll save this recipe and give it a try. Thanks!
