Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian slider buns (1 package)
  • 8 eggs
  • 1/4 C milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 lb sausage (we like Jimmy Dean)
  • 10 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tb butter, melted
  • 1/2 Tb maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Grab a large skillet and brown your sausage. Use a slotted spoon to remove the meat from the pan and place it on a paper towel lined plate. Pat any remaining grease from the sausage with another paper towel and set it aside.
  2. Crack your eggs into a medium sized mixing bowl and add the milk, salt and seasoned salt. Whisk together well to combine.
  3. Heat a large skillet up over medium high heat and spray it with cooking pray. Add the egg mixture and cook, scraping the sides of the pan to form scrambled eggs. Make sure not to over cook them. Remove from the heat and set aside.
  4. Grab a 7x11 pan or casserole dish and spray the bottom and sides with cooking spray.
  5. Using a sharp serrated knife, cut the rolls in half through the middle. Place the bottom half of the rolls into the pan.
  6. Spoon the scrambled eggs onto the rolls, followed by the cooked sausage, and the slices of cheese.
  7. Carefully place the top layer of the rolls onto the cheese.
  8. If you are making them ahead of time, cover with foil and refrigerate until ready to bake. They will keep for up to 24 hours in the fridge before you bake them.
  9. When you are ready to bake, remove the pan from the fridge and preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  10. Mix the melted butter and maple syrup together in a small glass measuring cup and brush it over the top of the rolls.
  11. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes.

Serve and enjoy!
