  1. These cookies look great, and I’m always looking for cookies that are a little different than the same old Christmas cookies I make. We don’t drink egg nog, so I hate to buy a carton just for these cookies- is there something I can make on my own to substitute for the egg nog? (To tell the truth I don’t even know what egg nog is made of!)

  2. Ohh, my mouth started to water when I saw that bowl of frosting. I have always loved egg nog but it’s such a naughty indulgence that I rarely buy any. I may have to go ahead this year so I can make a batch of these lovely cookies. Thanks!

    1. Soak the picture and glass in dieislltd water until the photograph comes loose (this might take several hours). After the photograph comes loose, you need to squeegee the excess water from the photograph (remember to squeegee from the back), then hang to dry just like if it where just printed. I have used this technique for years to not only remove photo’s from there glass but to also remove stains, mold and other spots. Just remember the dieislltd part, dieislltd water has no minerals in it to deposit onto the photograph. Good Luck

  3. I can’t wait to make these. I don’t care for egg nog, but these look delicious! Do they really cook for 20-22 min? That seems like such a long time for a cookie.

  4. Oops, sorry for the duplicate message. My computer was taking forever and I resubmitted. Looks like it did it twice. 🙂

    1. Shannon,
Thanks for asking, I generally add that kind of info to the recipe but it must have slipped my mind this time. The recipe makes 25-30 cookies. Thanks again! Hope you love them. 🙂

  5. Jamie these are divine! Mine ended up so flat though. I expected them to be a lot like the pumpkin cookies (cakey, fluffy goodness) but they came out spread out flat and slightly crisp. Did I do something wrong? I’ve even heard of other people having the same thing happening.

    Thanks!!
