Hello friends and happy early fall to you! Considering the wonderful abundance of fresh produce available during this wonderful warm season, I’ve put together a fun recipe roundup for you today, highlighting my favorite Canning and Preserving Recipes. There are several jam recipes, a killer salsa recipe, a wonderful spaghetti sauce recipe and even a hot fudge recipe that can be frozen in little pint sized jars.
If you haven’t ever tried canning before, choose one of these and give it a try this season! It can be a lot of fun and ever so rewarding.
If you have a great canning or preserving recipe that you love and would like to pass it along to me, I would love it! You can contact me through this link.
Enjoy!

I make jam from frozen berries regularly. Frozen raspberries and blueberries are often cheaper than buying the berries fresh. Also, I often run out of homemade jam in the middle of the winter when fresh berries aren’t available, so making them from frozen berries means homemade jam even in the winter. ๐ Please don’t miss the fact that making jam in the winter means your kitchen will be nice and cool.

This amazing recipe only makes 1 1/2 cups of syrup and will keep well in the fridge for 3-4 days, or you can freeze it for up to 2 months.

This fantastic recipe makes 2 cups, but can be doubled or tripled and kept in the freezer for 2-3 months.

This amazing Butter Cream Syrup has absolutely nothing to do with fruit, vegetables, canning or preserving. Ha! I simply came across it while I was searching my syrup recipe file and couldn’t help but throw a photo of it up here to please your eyeballs and to remind you that if you haven’t tried it, please do so at your earliest convenience.

While this recipe doesn’t have to do with fruits and vegetables, it is absolutely fabulous, makes 4 pints and can be frozen right in the cute little pint jars your see above. ๐
