This incredibly easy recipe can be made in under 15 minutes, is deliciously cheesy and layered with amazing texture and flavor.

Rotisserie chicken, fresh mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, sliced pears, and red onions are loaded on a piece of flat bread or pita bread, and then toasted in the oven or air fryer. Topped with fresh arugula and a balsamic glaze and this turns into a lovely meal, my friends. The flavor combination is fabulous!

Chicken, Pear and Arugula Flat Bread for One

  • flat bread or pita (we love Papa Pita's Greek Pitas)
  • sliced red onion
  • rotisserie chicken, chopped
  • sliced pear
  • fresh mozzarella cheese
  • parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • fresh arugula
  • balsamic glaze


  1. Preheat your oven or air fryer to 400 degrees.
  2. Lay the flat bread or pita out on your counter. Lay out the chicken and red onion evenly over the bread. 
  3. Add the sliced pear, mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Pop it in the oven or air fryer for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the bread is toasted. 
  5. Top with fresh arugula and balsamic glaze. 
  6. Cut into quarters and enjoy!
