I used this Royal Blend combination that features Texmati White, Brown, Red and Wild Rice.

Pretty!

It turns out nice and light and fluffy.

Most recently we’ve loved it paired with this amazing HARVEST SHEET PAN DINNER OF WONDER. It’s a great combo!

Hope you get a chance to try it!

Ingredients

  • 2 C wild rice blend (I used Rice Select's Royal Blend, you can buy it at most grocery stores and amazon)
  • 3 C hot water
  • 3 tsp chicken bullion granules
  • 1/2 tsp rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1 Tb butter

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients (but the butter) into a medium sized sauce pan and stir to combine.
  2. Bring to a boil over high heat.
  3. Cover the pan with a secure lid, reduce the heat to medium and allow it to simmer and cook.
  4. After 12-15 minutes check the pan to see if the liquid has reduced and the rice is cooked through. Give it a taste to be sure, then fluff with a fork add the butter and stir.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
